Project Overview:

Samhita – Where Stillness Meets Structure is a meditative landscape experience located in Zundal, Ahmedabad, created for Shyaswa Infra. Deeply inspired by the timeless principles of Japanese garden design, the space is grounded in restraint, balance, and the subtle art of stillness. It invites a moment of pause in a fast-moving world, crafted to create intentional interactions between built form and nature.

Three distinct courtyard zones anchor the spatial layout, each framed carefully to be visible from within the building. These courts aren’t merely green inserts; they are moments of reflection, quiet contemplation, and gentle visual relief.

Sustainable Features:

  • Japanese-Inspired Philosophy – A landscape rooted in Zen principles, emphasizing calm, minimalism, and spatial clarity.

  • Three Reflective Courtyards – Strategically placed to offer framed views from indoors, inviting introspection and breathing space.

  • Concentric Circle Pathway – A symbolic, layered entrance design that enhances the approach experience and establishes a sense of order.

  • Large Canopy Trees – Shade, scale, and spatial intimacy are provided by thoughtfully positioned mature trees throughout the design.

  • Balance of Form & Foliage – The landscape composition prioritizes simplicity in planting and purity in built elements to create visual and emotional calm.

Community & Lifestyle:

At Samhita, landscape design becomes an extension of philosophy. More than just an outdoor space, it becomes a living still life, meant not to impress but to ground. For residents and visitors, it offers an opportunity to breathe, observe, and be. This is not just a landscape—it’s an experience of mindful presence shaped through silence, structure, and stillness.
